The villa - house is very spacious, nicely designed and decorated in a quiet neighbourhood - equipped with almost anything you would need, plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances - great garden space with pool, outdoor parasol and bbq grill - nice projector screen with Netflix, Apple TV, Disney + etc. - would recommend adding a few more electric fans so that guests have a choice of using fans instead of aircon, especially if power supply in countryside could fluctuate. Transportation and activities around - around 10-15 min (a bit uphill) walk to nearest minibus/ bus station (Tai Au Mun) from the house - $60-75 taxi to nearest mtr (Hang Hau mtr station) - 5-15 min walk to nearby beaches and various canoe/ SUP rental places at sheung sze wan - 20-25 min walk to Clear Water Bay beaches and Clear Water Bay Country Park, or you can take a taxi 5-7 min - communication is smooth, host Matt and vivian are very friendly and helpful. could have a bit of delay as time zone is different from host, but all in all no problem as they are very responsive. They also prepared a pdf with recommendations to nearby activities. - great hospitality from hosts and helper auntie rose! Thanks for the welcome kit and complimentary bread! We had a great stay!

- large space, 4 levels - incredible fridge (Sub-Zero brand, for those who are kitchen appliance fetish, you will droll over it) - but one must consider space versus sacrificing accessing to restaurants and food delivery (meaning no Food Panda, no Deliveroo, you must either go out and pick up yourself or have enough groceries at home and know how to cook). - master bath, if you guys like to take long shower, be careful with the water drainage as water accumulate and spill over to part of the bathroom and you need to spend time mopping up the excess water. - if you can't stand the heat, and it was pretty hot this 2022 summer (37-39C), make sure the air conditioners are all well serviced with sufficient amount of coolant or no electric panel issues, and no clogged water drainage tube issues. - consider renting a car, otherwise Uber and Taxi $ will add up, and factor in at least 40min travel time to TST or HK island side as the TKO and Eastern Tunnel can get quite congested.
