We had a fantastic holiday and found this a great location, particularly if you drive an EV due to the charger just across the road. The house was perfect for us, the kitchen is small but well kitted out. We'd love to come back sometime!

We had a great time at Jacqui and Andrew’s house. The place is as described and really lovely. It is in a quiet village but there is a community shop if you need anything and do not want to go Stornoway. It is a great location to explore the Isle of Lewis and Harris. We mainly communicated with Jacqui who is really responsive and went out of her way to help us when we got a problem with our car. We would highly recommend and would gladly return if the occasion arises.

We had a great stay in the cottage, very homely exactly as described and probably even a little better. Great communication prior to booking and throughout the build up to our stay. Extremely helpful guest notes with solid explanations on how everything works. We received a very warm welcome with a gift basket, fresh flowers and a lovely card. Not to mention a warm welcome for our dog too, his own bed bowls, towels to clean up and some treats. The bedding and towels were very good quality, great touches. Found the community shop in Carloway very useful, one of our family are Gluten free and for a small shop had a great selection of food a drink to keep us topped up during the stay without a trip to Stornaway. We fell in love will Dalmore beach just a few mins drive away. Would certainly stay again and highly recommend. Thank you Andrew & Jacqui From the Browns

Fantastic week spent in a lovely cottage. Everything we could've wanted and beautifully appointed. Host was so helpful and friendly leaving some really thoughtful touches in terms of a welcome pack for us and our dog Daisy. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cottage has been beautifully done and the kitchen is kitted out well with everything you might need. Communication with Jacqui was excellent and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch to start off our holiday. The location was great with 2 lovely beaches nearby. It was also a good base to explore Harris and the north of Lewis. Would recommend!
