The apartment is located in a really quiet district called Dębniki, 5 min from Vistula River and 10 min from the Wawel Castle. 3 min from the apartment there is Congress Center where a lot of events happen. Nearby you can find a lot of grocery stores and a local grocery market with fresh vegetables and fruits. When you take a walk by Vistula River, within 10 min you get to the old, historic hotel Forum with a unique restaurant and pub where you can relax on hammocks looking at the Wawel Castle and beautiful view!

We, of course, recommend walking, as everything is very close to the apartment! :)

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:
In Krakow, public transport is very well developed. We have day and night lines that provide a 24-hour connection from every point of the city and the surrounding area of ​Krakow, with the city center. If you plan to use public transport, get the application “jakdojade” or use it as a page in a normal browser. Jakdojade will allow you to best specify where you should get in, get off and how much time do you need to reach your destination.
Ticket prices for public transport are from 5 pln/1h ticket, it is possible to buy a pass for 24, 48, 72 h public transportation ticket
CAR:
When it comes to parking, depending on how much you want to use the car, you can park on nearby streets. Public parking is covered by the zones between 10 am and 20 pm from Monday till Saturday. The price of parking on the street in this area is 83 PLN per day.
You can also use the private secured parking around, which is similar price.
TAXI and Apps:
We use UBER, BOLT etc, so if your application is installed it may be a good idea to use it.
In most of the normal taxi you will be able to pay with a card.
Taxi is about 7pln for opening the door and 2-5zł/km, so it is quite cheap in here.
Access from the airport:
*Train: A fast train from Krakow Balice, goes to the main railway station in Krakow, and goes 17 minutes. You can buy the ticket in the machine at the entrance (card payment option). The ticket costs PLN 17.
*TAXI: A taxi from the airport will cost to the old town around 100 PLN. If you order a private transfer it will cost you between 129 and 179 PLN, but if you are a large group and you have a lot of luggage, riding a minivan may be more reasonable than a taxi :)
*Public transport: buses 208, 209, 252 runs from the airport, the ticket costs about 5 pln, but it is definitely the longest way to get to the center. It will take from 40 min - 1h.
