This was such a peaceful stay for us. I stayed here with my best friend for a week and enjoyed sunset walks along the beach with local kids playing, had the BEST food at the restaurant (thanks to the whole kitchen team and especially chef Mac) and absolutely loved the atmosphere. The team felt like friends after our week there and we were sad to leave. While the amenities might be considered basic by some, you have to remember that you get to live on the beach - not just close to the beach but ON the beach. There’s running water for showers, free drinking water and coffee in the morning for in house guests. The only thing we struggled with were the sandflies; they’re ruthless and it’s almost impossible not to get bitten if you’re on the beach at sunset or at night (the stars were incredible though and we saw multiple shooting stars). And Harry was such a wonderful host, he was so responsive and caring about any request we had. Thanks BH Beachfront team for everything!

Harry was so accommodating. It was my first time in the Philippines and I was excited to disconnect from the city life and choose a more rural area with beautiful surroundings. This spot is far from the main town but you stay in your own personal Bamboo hut right next to the bar and other restaurants. You can take a van to El Nido then take a tuk tuk to Bucana Hanging Bridge from El Nido Bus terminal. Harry will help you arrange transportation and tours. I enjoyed island hopping and sightseeing by motorbike. Nearby is Nacpan beach, Bulalacao Falls, and other amazing places! Inside the hut it’s clean and free of insects with a mosquito net and it’s very down to earth so if you’re not into that it may not be for you but I loved the experience because it’s next to the shore. Also bring repellent for sandflies. I most definitely will return soon!

Asuin täällä bungalowissa viikon verran. Nukuin parhaat unet ja söin uskomattoman hyvää ruokaa! Heillä on lahjakkuus keittiössä töissä! Tämä on täydellinen paikka jos kaipaat rauhaa ja yksityisyyttä. Henkilökunta on erittäin ystävällistä! Jos päätät majoittua tänne, hanki hyvät suoja suihkeet sand flies vastaan sillä saatat joutua heidän uhriksi syötäväksi. Kiitos paljon Harrylle majoittamisesta ja kaikkea hyvää tulevaisuuteen!

This is the ultimate budget offering!!! Right on the beach. It part part of a local fishing community and yet when you close the gate you are completely private from the village. The bungalows are very cute, small sleeping area but a very comfortable outside verandah area, each with its own chairs and table to put food and drinks on. Harry took this establishment over a few months ago, it is very much a work in progress, he is saving to upgrade the facility. If you are pedantic it is not for you but if you like authenticity this is definitely for you, not a tourist in sight! He is an incredibly nice host, he goes out of his way to please and make your stay a pleasant one. He has a very good chef that is very creative with the local products; my favourite was banana flower patties with mushroom sauce. The prices was also very reasonable! He also offers free coffee, water and biscuits. The setting of the village with mountains at the background are truly spectacular!
