We rented this house in my hometown to attend my father’s funeral. Unfortunately upon arrival, 2 of the 4 bedrooms didn’t have electricity, which made our first morning very hectic. They fixed it for the next night, which was appreciated. However, upon leaving we requested a partial refund for the 1st night and never received a response, which seemed odd since they knew I was in town to support my family. I hope future guests don’t have similar issues and take into consideration the risks of remodeled homes.

We had an incredible stay in Brant Rock. The house is so beautiful and decorated nicely. Plenty of space for a group/family and an awesome location. We were here for our wedding weekend and photos turned out awesome on the porches in the home!! Thank you so much, and we would definitely recommend staying again!

I rarely write reviews but I think Janita deserved a special shout out. We stayed at her place for the night before and the night of our wedding and she (and the place) were fantastic. She let us check in early and communicated constantly and immediately with us during the hurricane that was hitting that weekend. It took a ton of stress off of us having such a good host.

We rented Janita’s home for 2 nights to celebrate my dad’s 70th birthday, and it was the perfect place for us. There is ample parking (we had 3 vehicles), and the home is very large. The first floor was set up in a way that was very communal/open. Each room had AC that we could control which was a very welcome surprise given how hot it’s been this September. I accidentally left a bag at the house before checking out, and Janita went out of her way to make arrangements to get it back to me. Although it was an expensive stay - it was worth it in the memories we made, and it was comparable to other listings we considered. You cannot beat the location. Would love to come back!
