Nathan had impeccable communication! We appreciated that he opened up his property to us to walk around; where the rental is located isn't very walkable but is backed by a very pretty wooded area, while the front of the house is directly on the road. We had lots of enjoyable observations of cardinals, carpenter (non-harmful!) bees, hawks, and of course baby cows. The fireplace was very cozy and warmed the whole place up. Our feedback to Nathan was about the beds which we found really uncomfortable and he was as accommodating as he could be about it. The shower is a very tight squeeze. We were totally unfamiliar with the area -- and it's so incredibly beautiful! -- and found that aside from eating in town, doing most anything was at least a 30-minute drive. We liked one of the two BBQ places in Yellville, went to the national forest to hike, the White River State Park, and did a canoe trip on the Buffalo. All of Nathan's suggestions for what to do in the area were appreciated & helpful.

Peaceful, beautiful, comfortable. Wonderful overnight family getaway for us.
