Amy and David's place was, upon arrival, so amazing. My kids said they felt "rich" staying there. The INCREDIBLE details of the old home & the back yard space were amazing. Great shopping/restaurants nearby. There were a few issues we encountered that I made the owner aware of prior to writing this review. Issues were: -No batteries in the remote for the living room tv that controls the sound -As far as I saw, no light switch for light in the dining room or outside patio lights. I tried all switches -Although host states the best way to communicate is over the Airbnb app, 2 of the questions I sent went ignored. Later they explained that they had been traveling. A heads up would have been nice -No full length mirror in the house -A HUGE disgusting ball of hair clogged the shower drain -Bring your own body wash -Last, but most concerning, water leaked from ceiling into a 2nd floor bedroom during rain. Did not damage our belongs but easily could have. Faint smell of mildew or mold?

Great home with beautiful historic detail. Perfect for family with great balance of bedrooms and bathrooms and main floor for spending time together. It is next to an apartment complex and the neighbors were very noisy one night, but immediately turned down the music when asked.

A very cool and unique Louisville in a great part of town with thoughtful hosts who communicate well! David & Amy answered an important and specific question for us before booking. The home is exactly as described and was a great value in a beautiful part of town. Very walkable to Bardstown road and a short drive, or walk, to Nulu. Quiet and comfortable with some cool furniture and nice add-ons (lots of TVs, hot tub) Thanks!

We had a wonderful time at this space. It was perfect for our unique purposes and the host couldn't have been more responsive, friendly and eager to help. The space was wonderful and we won't hesitate to book again next time we are in town.
