I reserved this space for my family to stay in while they were in town for my 30th birthday. It was perfect, spacious and lots of character. Everyone had their own rooms with their own private bathroom, which was a huge plus. Kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans. Prior to the stay, Darin reached out to ensure a smooth check-in and to accommodate us as best as possible. I had trouble getting in and contacted him and Airbnb to let him know and he was promptly there to assist. He was gracious with his time and space. It took longer for a couple of family members to get out of the home. Darin was extremely patient and kind despite the inconvenience this may have caused him. Hoping to return to this beautiful escape in the future,
Beautiful historic home, exactly as pictured. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, great space for a family or large group. Would definitely stay here again!
Darin was very kind and so easy to work with. He’s been extremely responsive as well as flexible. We had a big surprise party in this amazing home and everyone was in awe of this incredible home. I would highly recommend this home for holding a large party or gathering.
Darin was a proactive and friendly communicator who responded quickly every time I reached out and who often provided useful information before asked. The house is amazing. You’re basically booking an entire hotel when you book the house. Huge space and great decor with several gathering areas. Bedrooms all had bathrooms attached and beds were extremely comfortable. We all loved our stay!
I can't imagine a place that could accommodate folks from 5 different states, age ranges 2 - 82 (including a couple of teenagers) as comfortably. And it provided extra incentive for local friends to visit because they wanted to see the Mansion! Thank you to Darin for being a great host, and being true to the original building--interior and exterior. I know how much people in the neighborhood appreciate it, too.
