The house was clean and very well equipment and it was nice to have basic store cupboard ingredients and condiments available. The bed we used was very comfortable with good quality linens. The views were amazing and it was good to be away from the main road so it was peaceful. We stayed as a couple so it was quite expensive but for 4 or 6 people it would have been very reasonable and there was plenty of seating and equipment for larger numbers. We would definitely recommend the property.

Missy place is stunning! The views from the deck are incredible and it really is a slice of heaven :) it is peaceful and rural New Zealand. We wanted to stay longer but work unfortunately called us back to the city! The town itself doesn’t have much to offer in the way of food. The four square was very limited in fresh produce and the local restaurants weren’t for us. I would recommend Missy’s place, but I would recommend stopping at a larger town before hand to stock up on food supplies. The house is well equipped, the beds are super comfortable and there is a large living area for everyone to enjoy. It’s a shame there is no outdoor dinning furniture and we had to bring out the outdoor furniture ourselves when we got there. But we happily ate on our knees as we couldn’t take our eyes off the Hokianga River and sand dunes.
