Nestled between Valhalla & Kokanee Provincial parks, Driftwood is ideally located mere steps from Slocan Lake beach & boat launch & Slocan River. There are plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking, mtn biking, boating, swimming, sport climbing, cross-country skiing, ski touring, and snow mobiling. Our Airbnb is permitted and licensed in the Village of Slocan: Business license #2404 Please find Driftwood COVID19 protocols in Guest access This beautifully appointed and immaculate house, which overlooks the lake, contains artwork from local Kootenay artists. There are two bedrooms, a spacious and open living room, a well-equipped kitchen, and a laundry area. Outside, there is a BBQ, picnic table, and benches. There are also lounge chairs and outdoor dining furniture available. The view from the dining room is so captivating that we decided against having a TV, so BYO viewing device. While our license limits us to five people, the ideal guest configuration is either 1 or 2 couples or 2-3 single people. The space is not suitable for children.

Peaceful little retreat!! Walk outside and turn right you’re right in a quaint little town…turn left and you’re on your way to relaxing, gorgeous walks with incredible views.
This home was exactly what we expected and were hoping for. Although we were there to visit family in the winter, it would be wonderful in the summer as it's right by the lake Lovely, clean home
This has become an annual vacation for us and we look forward to staying at Driftwood and enjoying the beauty of Slocan Lake all year. Nicole is a wonderful host and her place is clean, simple, and has all you need to disconnect & recharge. We love the sweet yard, walking to the market & bakery, and access to exceptional boating & biking. Already looking forward to our next stay!
this is our 4th time doing our summer vacation at Nicole's. we can't think of going anywhere else, we just love everything about the house, the town, and the surrounding area!
Wow! This place is awesome. Our family absolutely loved it. Close to the beach, beautiful view, cozy, great yard. I really can't say enough good things about this place.

Driftwood is ideally located at the mouth of the Slocan River by the lake. It has been declared, "The best house in Slocan" by locals and visitors alike because of this. It is literally steps away from both the lake and river. There are hiking trails nearby, and it is the gateway to Valhalla Park. Slocan Village has a well-stocked grocery store, café, and a restaurant within walking distance.
There is plenty of parking at the house and on the street. A regularly scheduled bus goes to Nelson. Driftwood is also at the trail head of the Rails to Trails, a bike, horse & cross-country ski trail from Slocan to Crescent Valley.
