Pros: amazing location overlooking the beach; two large balconies perfect for people watching; spacious living room. Nice bathroom packs with soaps, shampoo, etc. Host responded promptly to all questions, and was very flexible around check-in and check-out times (much appreciated)! Things to be aware of: the listing advertises AC, but as of our visit only one of the two bedrooms (and not any of the other common areas) had AC - which meant every room except the one bedroom were extremely hot. Second bedroom is quite small with two single beds - good for kids, but would be a struggle with adults. Bathrooms and floors could have been cleaned more thoroughly

This apartment is two stories, is well laid out and has 3 different and wonderful, outdoor spaces. It is directly across the street from a beautiful, rocky beach (as are many near by). The street closes to vehicles in the evening and becomes pedestrians only. This is great, unless you come back late and want to drop things off at the apartment before parking the car. Having a car in Cala Gonone makes so many amazing outings possible, but be aware that you will have to park a 5-10 min walk from the apartment, unless you want to pay for parking. The kitchen and bathrooms, and one of the bedrooms have been updated - the kitchen is well stocked with most all utensils and dishes you need to cook - and a few basics (salt, pepper, olive oil, sugar). Very usable! There are a few things that are "tired" - some of the furniture, beach chairs/umbrellas. Our host, Alessandra, was amazing. She was very responsive and helped with everything we needed. The Wifi went out on a Sunday and she came in to reset it. Overall, loved the apartment and had a fabulous time!
