Our second stay while visiting family. Jude & Will are great hosts and allowed a variation of dates in a most flexible way. Nice to have the basics ready in the kitchen and they promptly met all our requests. Parking is as always found in Bridport, challenging. Had to park across an entrance (temporarily) Will even helped offload our bags (and carried them in) whilst we found another parking space. Later we managed to park right outside. We understand that some walls are to move to enlarge the bedroom ( no more sideways shuffle to the bed - which is also to increase in size) . Used the sofa bed this time - very comfortable. We will happily return .

Lovely place; cosy and well equipped. Easy to find. Parking ok… not at the property but not too far away. Quite a bit of noise at times from the upstairs studio and from the hosts’ front door/visitors (The flat is on the ground floor and the bedroom window opens directly outside the hosts own entrance). This probably wouldn’t have been such a problem except that I was unwell and so morning get-ups were slower than normal. The hosts were welcoming - we had a very detailed tour of the flat - and were flexible when we unexpectedly found our daughter would be joining us for one night. Thank you.

A lovely place felt like home didn’t want to go back home and my doggy loved it she’s only 11 months and they have a beautiful dog they played together really well when they were out on the run 🐾🐾 met up by accident on their walk

Jude and Will have made an enormous effort to equip their lovely annex with absolutely everything you might need for a ‘home from home’ stay. The Old Bakery is a large, peaceful and comfortable hideaway, right in the middle of Bridport town , offering a perfect mix of quiet, relaxation and yet great central location. Definitely recommend.
