We had a truly wonderful stay at Casa Raffaella’s. Raffaella and Claudio were lovely hosts. They were so kind and interesting to talk to. The two meals we had- at the Osteria in Villa a Sesta and Raffaella’s pasta class- were the best of our entire trip. The house was the perfect spot to visit Siena, Pienza, Montepulciano and Bagno Vignoni. This was the highlight of our stay in Italy.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt bei Raffaella und Claudio sehr genossen. Die Wohnung entsprach exakt den Bildern im Inserat. Sie bietet eine tolle Aussicht auf die Hügel des Chianti und liegt sehr ruhig. Alles war sehr sauber und die Dusche ist ein Mini-Wellnesbereich. Besonders genossen haben wir den Frühstücksservice und die interessanten Gespräche mit Raffaela und Claudio, bei denen wir unser Italienisch verbessern konnten. Die Wohnung ist ideal für Ausflüge in die schönsten Städte der Toskana. Wir waren u.a. in Siena, San Gimignano, Montepulciano und Volterra. Auf der Hinfahrt haben wir Pisa besucht. Villa A Sesta liegt im Chianti-Gebiet. Das haben wir für eine Rundfahrt, eine Besuch auf Schloss Brolio und eine Weinverkostung genutzt. Raffaella und Claudio hatten viele hilfreiche Tipps und waren äußerst gastfreundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Mille grazie e arrivederci!

What an incredible experience! Raffaella and Claudio were the best hosts during our week stay. It truly feels like you’re staying with family. We enjoyed our breakfasts every morning with Raffaella, she was even kind enough to share some of her recipes. We recommend the pizza night! We had spent a month in italy, but the pizzas we ate that night were the best ones of our trip! We so enjoyed our time and hope to come back one day. Thank you Raffaella & Claudio for everything! As for the apartment, the bed was comfy, the place was clean, wifi worked well for us digital nomads, parking was perfect. 10/10 stay.

The place is magical! Photographs do not do it justice. Rafaella and her husband are friendly and helpful. The area is gorgeous and fun to explore!
