Excellent get away retreat - very quiet and a beautiful location. Locals very friendly. House was as described and very beautifully equipped and warm. High quality standing products used through out. Only issue was the floors were not clean and this was resolved by hoovering. This is a remote location but great for walks in the countryside. Excellent internet speeds.

We were a large group traveling to the Grove Cottage with 5 adults and 3 kids and really enjoyed our stay. The house is located in a beautiful hamlet within easy distance to lots of villages and walks and cozy country pubs and the best of the Cotswolds at your door step. The house is very well equipped for families in that it had a large and well stocked kitchen, and lots of play areas (and toys!). We also had a problem with the drain but the management company responded and fixed right away. Some downsides for us: — communication with the host was unclear. They weren’t always responsive and didn’t seem to have access to our questions via Airbnb, which led to stress leading up the trip — some things were missing / hard to find, like the welcome pack (had to call the host directly to find it). We also had to buy our own sponges, laundry detergent, and paper towel — The house was clean but some areas were really dusty, ie we found a massive dead wasp in the living room.

This is a lovely property in a beautiful location. It is very well equipped and tastefully decorated. the room are clean and comfortable and we will definitely stay here agian

Absolutely beautiful property. Just as pictured and much more - had almost anything you could wish for in a rental property, even extras in the kitchen and we did a lot of cooking. Towels were plush and linens crisp and clean. Even had some toys for the kids to play with and the swing set was good on the one day it wasn’t raining. The tv room and sitting room were so lovely and cozy. The only negatives were: 1) the host (well management company) never responded to either of our messages upon check in, we still haven’t heard from them and we are home now. 2) the pans and baking trays in the oven were filthy- covered in grease and crumbs. Really gross and totally unlike the rest of the standard around the house 3) the kitchen had a small Bluetooth for music that would have been awesome, but it wasn’t charged and there was no plug to charge it 4) the kitchen table was extremely wobbly/not stable for our group which had a total of 5 young children- unlike other high quality furniture
