I've been to Grenada before but this was my 1st trip traveling solo but I felt extremely safe!!! loved that there was bars and food places in walking distance! But still close to the beaches and other great restaurants! the apartment complex is very cozy and spacious and loved that there was a working station and the Wi-Fi worked great so I had no issues working remotely. They also have housekeeping done throughout your stay which is a major plus! but Joe's place is my new home away from home when traveling to Grenada solo! Joe is also a great host!

Joe's place is conveniently located not far from St. George's University (10 minutes walk), a few eateries (5 minutes), and Grand Anse Beach (10 minutes by bus). The room I stayed in was well-kept, cool with AC and fans, and spacious with enough room for two travelers. Wifi works great, TVs had HDMI cables ready. Laundry machine works good. Shower worked great, kitchen was nice, and even had an outdoor patio overlooking the pool. What stood out even more was Joe's prompt responses whenever I needed help (i.e. complimentary toothbrush/paste), shower needed fixing. Joe's on-site manager Jeremey was superb as well. I didn't expect such a nice place when I booked Joe's. For me, cherry on top was the gym, which was comparable to a commercial grade gym with free weights, barbells, smith machines, and cardio equipment. If you need to be near SGU, this is a top choice to stay at. My Grenadian adventure was a huge success thanks to Joe's place. Thank you Joe & team!

Joe and all his staff were fantastic to work with. The location is great and the accommodations were awesome. All amenities were there and everything we needed was included.

Joe’s place was everything as described in the listing. My girlfriend is a student at SJU so location was important. The building was very safe with security and a locked entry. The unit itself was updated , well equipped and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils and appliances along with coffee and tea. There were two issues one small one major. The bed could have been a little more comfortable plus the sheets did not fit well and always came off the mattress. The other issue was the shower. Basically it was almost unusable. The shower could not maintain a consistent temperature. It went to either piping hot water or freezing water and no in between. With the handle having a lag responding a minute later back and forth between hot and cold. Now to be clear, the shower was noted on the welcome packet and it could have been the building itself or maybe it was the unit itself. I’m not sure. Overall I had a great stay at Joe’s place except for the shower.

My stay at Joe's place was very comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen was very well appointed and the space was clean and spacious. 1 of my favorite things about the place is the access to the gym downstairs, which for an apartment building, is very good. The bed is super comfortable and all of the details you would imagine a great Airbnb host to facilitate we're there. Things like bath soap dish soap washing detergent for laundry and the like. Also it is in close proximity to Container Park where you have a number of options for food and beverages as well as Caul's convenience store where you can pick up general items. Down the street in the other direction there is another convenience store called True Blue Pharmacy / Mini Mart and between Caul's and this place you should be able to get whatever you need supplies wise for several days. I would highly recommend staying at Joe's Place if you're going to be in the area.
