A real find in an incredible spot. Follow the instructions to a tee and you’ll find the cottage with no problems. Probably download an offline map too. The cottage is remote and right off the trail for the four waterfalls. The house is on its own private plot so no disturbances as the main hiking route cuts before you enter the gate for the main property. Everything was beautiful, clean linens, comfy sofas and a roaring fireplace. Plenty of good books, wild swimming and excellent trails right from the front door. Planning our next visit and can’t wait to get back. Despite the house being so remote it’s super comfortable and has everything you need for a really comfortable stay.

Posse of mum’s escaping Mothers Day. We loved it. We walked to all 4 waterfalls. Swam in two of them. The currents are strong so be careful. Woke up to the sound of song birds. Really remote. Loved it

What an amazing home! We absolutely loved our stay at Hendre Bolon! The location is amazing and very private. There's a popular walking trail to four waterfalls which we loved and being able to rest in front of the wood burning fire after a long trek was heavenly. Dunc was a great host and responded really fast to questions and queries! My advice to future guests would be definitely read the instructions around the house and in the book to get the most out of your stay, Dunc and Alis attention to detail was really great from the photos of how to get to the cottage to the extra logs in the barn and where the cutlery is (haha) the information is all there so you can have an enjoyable and really comfortable stay!
