Wonderful historic room. Tall ceiling and walls; you really travel back in time with the amount of space in the room also I love the walk in closet bathroom area where there is a antique wash stand; where i fell into character from the pioneer days were there is no running water just the jug of water. I really Enjoyed Amy's Historic Mansion stay. secluded oasis but near all. I stayed with my dog Luke he loved romaing the property without a leash. I would definitely recommend Amy's bnb to everyone who is traveling

I stayed 6 weeks for work relocation. I was happy with the accommodations as well as the location. If I had to do it over I would not change a thing. There is plenty of wildlife too.

The nostalgic persona of the mansion is breathtaking. If you want a place to just be at peace with no interruptions this is it. Otherwise bring what you will for entertainment. Bring your own groceries. No breakfast served. Coffee pot but no coffee or filters. Small microwave and nice size but not full size refrigerator. Amy is a charming woman. Seems easy to get along with, just seemed guarded.

Excellent location and value. This is a secluded property and is very safe, yet very close to shopping areas and an easy 10 minute drive into downtown Albany. Amenities in the room included a mini fridge and microwave which was good for keeping breakfast and snacks. I did an extended stay at this location (83 days) as temporary housing during a work relocation. Amy, the host, is very responsive and helpful if you need anything or are looking for advice on things to do to keep busy in your off time.
