The address provided does not take you to the home. The host does write you with instructions, however we still got a bit lost. The home is a bit off the road into the woods so it is a bit creepy at night. The house is also very old so it takes a while to get hot and the host has the heat in a timer during the day so if you plan to stay in definitely let them know to change that or it gets freezing. On the positive end- the host was so kind and responsive. We had internet issues and she addressed them quickly. They were in top of providing firewood and starting the fire. There was breakfast food provided and a full kitchen. The rooms were big and had several beds, great for families! The location was close to the National forest!

It was difficult to find Joan’s place at night. The place is a bit remote. It was very clean and comfortable bed. Good place for a night or two, very basic, not much of an atmosphere. We were cold the first night but Joan was great and made sure this was not the case the second night. Good location to explore ring of Kerry.

Joan's breakfast was lovely and she was very warm, friendly and helpful with local tips. We found our room very noisy and were awoken a few times during the night, but this may have been because we'd been put in the room on the ground floor right beside the front door due to having a dog with us. If you're planning to travel with your pet, be aware that we were informed when we arrived that we wouldn't be able to leave our dog anywhere in the house and would have to leave her in the car if we were wanting to go out without her.
