Relax in Cornwall with the family at 'The Milestone', a central location for a holiday. Sandy beaches 15 mins drive. Truro shops and restaurants 10 min drive. Newly refurbished semi-detatched bungalow in quiet residential area, minutes from the countryside. Accomodation for 4 guests. 2 bedrooms, one with superking, one with twin beds. Kitchen fully equipped. Wetroom. Private garden. Large lounge with TV. Spacious off-road parking. Bed linen and towels and beach towels provided. The milestone is a semi detached bungalow with a good sized garden front and back. We are near the milestone that marks 3 miles from Truro. Hence our name! The property is light, bright and sunny with generous sized rooms. The entrance hallway leads to a twin bedroom in the front of the house with a lounge directly opposite. Then there is the master bedroom which is a dual aspect room with one window having views out to the double drive at the side of the house and another window to the back garden. The wet room is at the end of the hall. Opposite the master bedroom is the entrance to our kitchen which leads into our conservatory. From the conservatory you can access an enclosed back garden, there is also a side gate.See our Instagram @milestonecornwall .

A wonderful host. Spotless house. Very cosy and warm. There was nothing to fault. We had a wonderful time and Cara’s place was a fantastic base. We would throughly recommend the property and Cara.
What a fantastic host Cara is, we booked for 2 nights as our motorhome was in the garage. Delays with a part meant we ended up staying 5 nights. Cara was great from start to finish, the accommodation is lovely and we felt right at home, local shops and restaurants within a 5 min walk, half an hour drive to some beautiful cornish sights. There is literally nothing that could have made our stay better and Caras scones were worth the trip alone.

The Milestone is in a central location in Cornwall with easy access by car to lots of incredible beaches and all that our gorgeous county has to offer. On foot within 10 mins you can be out into the countryside with lots of beautiful walks. There are local buses and Truro has a train station. There is a children’s play park at the end of the road and also in the village, among other things, a couple of local shops, a doctors, pharmacy, post office, fish and chip shop, Chinese takeaway, butchers, bakery and an excellent pub restaurant. You can easily park 2 large or three small cars on the drive. We are in walking distance to the bus stop where you can get regular buses. Truro has a railway station

Hello there, I’m Cara and I was born in this county of Cornwall which I love. Living here for all of my life means I am available to help and advise during your stay as much or as little as you like. Happy to give local information such as where to buy the best ice cream, how to get a parking space at the beach, which are the best cafes and restaurants or where should we visit? I live close at hand so am easy to contact. I am raising my own family of six children along with my husband and The Milestone is my venture and an extension of my love of hosting. I am enthusiastic about all things Cornish, baking, crochet, sewing, swimming, beaches, coffee, Cornishware and chocolate. I look forward to meeting you!
