The villa is beautiful and exactly as depicted in the photos. It is well maintained by a villa management company so every day not only do the wonderful staff make you breakfast, they impeccably housekeep the grounds, rooms and bathrooms. There is one big downside with this villa - its location. Although it seems near enough to the restaurants and shopping of Seminyak, the traffic on Jalan Tangkuban Perahu is so terrible even the locals sigh. Walking is much much faster. I would recommend doing that except scooters also ride on the pavement. It's hazardous so you can only walk on the pavement facing the traffic (coming from Raya Kerobokan) because the traffic coming this way is not so heavy. We discovered a crucial hack. There is a back alley that gets you to Jalan Mertanadi (ask the staff). From there, you can get a ride in the direction of Sunset Road and save a lot of time. So awesome villa, great staff, but learn about the location and traffic if you plan on going anywhere.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. Superb lawn area and pool. Great service from the staff. Felt like home. Would definitely come again!

I searched on Air B&B on and off for weeks and started to get fed up as I could not choose as all the villas looks beautiful in Bali. Villa Balidamai was amazing and honestly the pictures do not do this property justice. Wayan and her staff were amazing, so friendly and ensured the villa was clean and tidy. I am a business owner and my only gripe was the poor speed of the wi-fi and i did struggle to get a decent connection to remotely log onto my work PC back home. Apart from that the villa was perfect! Bit of advice, when you arrive in Bali buy a local sim card and download an app called GoJek and Grab. GoJek is for food delivery etc, very easy to use and delivery from any food outlet for about 12k Rupiah (about 60p), even got a bottle of gin and tonic delivered. Grab is local taxi which is very reliable and cheap, don't recommend using Taxsi company as it's a rip off. Phone died one night so we had to use Taxsi and was charged 150k Rupiah back to the villa (about £7.60) still not expensive for westerners but when you consider I was paying between 14k/20k (70p - £1.00) for the same journey booked through Grab there's a big difference! All in all the family loved the villa and Bali, we''ll be back next year for 3 weeks.
