The Lodge worked well for our family reunion, mostly because we were there to visit with each other and not sightsee. It was brutally hot so we couldn't make use of the large porch, but the air conditioner in the house worked very well. Downstairs was especially cool. While not luxurious, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of towels, pillows, blankets. The only real disappointment was the game room. It hadn't been cleaned in quite a while and the spiders were taking over the place. There aren't a lot of options in the area. If you are looking for a sparkling clean resort with lots of amenities, good luck. But if you are looking for a homey atmosphere and room to spread out, you could do a lot worse.

It fit our needs perfectly for our whole family of 16 to be together near the wedding venue. I decorated the cake for 380 in the kitchen! We loved having the cabinet contents labeled, very helpful. Great beds and bathrooms, gorgeous view, reasonable price. A map to get there would instill confidence--my husband's phone app didn't recognize the Lenore bridge as a viable route. Also mention that the key is IN the lockbox--my DIL was trying to get the code to open the lockbox off the door handle. (Everyone is not a savvy young-ish person comfortable or familiar with tech and modern ways, myself included.) The dining table REALLY needs more chairs--only 3! We did need the emergency contact # as the downstairs sink wouldn't drain--it was immediately solved, thank you. Very nice amenities, TVs, games, fridge space! We would recommend this place to anyone with a large group who likes to be able to make most of their own meals.

This house is very well stocked with everything you need! Lots of kitchen dishes, utensils, condiments and extras. There was plenty of extra bedding and towels. The house, two decks, two living rooms, and game room allow your group to spread out and enjoy! You won't find perfection here, but it was perfect for us! Note: if you want to play darts you might want to bring your own - there was enough to make it work but we should have brought some. We were there are a couple of very HOT days - AC in the house worked amazing - the game room got quite warm. Overall - I would absolutely stay there again!

There was lots of room here for my large crew. The game room was great, as was the covered porch overlooking the river.

Great lodge. Lots of space and very functional. Game room in the garage was lots of entertainment especially when it was so cold outside.
