Outstanding location, absolutely beautiful. We loved exploring the garden, seeing the chickens, horse and sheep. The kids loved playing with the toys and the outdoor play equipment. Time went very quickly and we felt at home. Kate was very friendly and gave lots of recommendations for local things to do. Excellent for kids and very close to the town. Thank you

We were disappointed that we had to provide our own linen - sheets and towels. That was a lot of extra packing for 4 adults and two children. There wasn't even a bath mat provided. The oven tray had not been cleaned properly and smoked the kitchen when we went to use it and one of the extractor buttons did not work. The most disappointing thing was that we were expected to look after two elderly pets. When I queried this I was told there was no choice. After a night when the dog had been inadvertently left outside and barked at night and early morning, we asked the owner if it could be removed and arrangements were made then to relocate it. I would not leave my own pets to be looked after by strangers. There was no reading light in the sleepout - although there was a power point right next to the bed. Ants had been a problem and had been sprayed, but were still evident & active in the sleepout. No tea or coffee was provided.
