Richard is a great host. We loved the space and views of the castle from our window. There was plenty of room and the location is perfect for discovering Leigh or hopping on a bus or tram into Edinburgh city centre.
We liked this room a lot, such a cool layout. Richard works from home and was responsive and respectful. Tram and bus stops to the center within 5min walk. Supermarket aldo 5min walk. Would gladly stay here again.
Richard is super nice and the response is fast. The area is quiet and easy to get everywhere with public transportation. The door of the room cannot be locked. I am okay with it but it’s a pity that you cannot really close the door (almost closed). Probably there is a trick to close it.
Richard was super helpful and flexible, both before and during our stay. Richard was overall friendly and had lots of recommendations. The room was big and looked like the photos. Leith is super well connected to both the airport and the inner city and there was plenty of food options nearby as well. We were happy with our stay:-)

About me. I am an Edinburgh citizen (Edinburgher). Leith is where I have chosen to settle. Knowingly rough around the edges, no other part of the city offers such a wide social and cultural diversity. this is real Edinburgh. I bought my property in 2011 and have slowly been getting it into a position where it can really be called home. I do get out at the weekend. Mostly pubs and some live music. Music is a huge part of my life. I have collected music for 30 years (underground & independent). I DJ'd extensively around the city in the 90s. I have a small amateur music studio in my flat and have been making electronic music for over 10 years now. I enjoy many other cultural pursuits with Edinburgh offering much in this regard. I have a mostly vegetarian diet and take much interest in the environment. I have a fairly well honed sense of humour and really enjoy having a laugh with people. I hope that gives you a reasonable insight into who i am. in terms of being a host. i'm very easy going and fairly liberal. assuming there are no victims I believe in human & free choice over political or theological interference. 420 friendly
