This newly renovated Victorian home is walking distance to downtown restaurants and events, and stone's throw to hiking destinations, Skydive Chicago, and a quick pedal to the I&M canal trail. The house is professionally cleaned and sanitized between each group. Pet and child friendly. This property is a combination of two individual apartments in one house, accessible through a downstairs hallway. It's the perfect way to have extended family stay together while also maintaining privacy.

Very responsive, great place, and great price
Great house for a family vacation near Starved Rock State Park!
Check in was easy and simple. The house was extremely spacious! The train wasn’t even a problem as it never really came while we were asleep. We had some minor problems but the host was very responsive and quick to help with anything needed! Would definitely stay again.
A wonderful place to stay. It had everything you would need to prepare a meal or two. All the extra toiletries in the bathrooms if you forgot something, and all the cleaning supplies, if you needed to clean up a mess. Had one little hiccup at the beginning of our stay, but got it resolved quickly as possible. Would definitely stay here again.
I don't know where to start!!! The pictures and explanation on of the property was spot on. It was so clean, had everything you could think of available as far as a well stocked kitchens, bathrooms, baby gear, things for your pet! When I say full stocked I mean we did not have to run out the the grocery store or Walmart to buy something to help make a meal-we have had to purchase bakeware and baking utensils before - there was everything that I could think of and more!! Dragonfly is an old home but that just adds to the character of it! Bedrooms were all well sized, the dining room living spaces were very comfortable. I could go on and on about how happy we were with our stay - there was one mishap but that was address immediately and did not hamper our stay at all! WE highly recommend Dragonfly as a wonderful place to stay in a very cute town-great restaurants, brewery and bars downtown. Thank you Taneva and Mark for sharing your home!!

This property is very walkable to downtown Ottawa attractions. This property borders an active train track. The trains tend to be only a few cars long and there is no set schedule, so occasional trains during normal sleeping hours are to be expected. The front part of the building can also get some road noise, as Columbus Street is a busy main Street.

I'm a graduate nursing student, skydiver, home chef, and avid traveler. What started as sharing an extra room in my home has become a full time passion for me. I had always dreamed of opening an a traditional bed and breakfast but my love of travel seemed to make that an impossible reality until Airbnb came around. This platform has given me the opportunity to have flexibility in my schedule while still allowing me to create memorable travel experiences for a variety of people. I have designed all of my properties with the traveler in mind. I have tried to create spaces that are comfortable and cozy, yet have the modern conveniences you that make life easier. I am also a neat freak, so my standards are high for any space I care for, and your health and safety are always at the for forefront of my mind.
