We stayed one night at Jagath’s place during our road trip through Sri Lanka. The house is about 100 meters from the road but the night was really quiet. Of course, as it’s into nature you can hear animals such as dogs and birds, but it’s part of the game ! The view is amazing (when the sun is shining) and breathtaking. The room was good and in line with the pictures. Jagath is a great host : kind, reactive and pro active. He was really helpful so that we could eat in the evening and arranged our transport the next day to go to the train station by TukTuk. Thank you !

This is actually a simple basement room with no mountain view (or bathtub...yes I had imagined a long sunset bath haha) but it was comfortable and a wonderful experience. I found the property easy to access by bus. .. just a short walk from the main road. The staff and the owner were great to meet and, on a walk, the neighbours were also very warm and welcoming. It's in a beautiful location and it was nice to feel cold for my first time in Sri Lanka. Everywhere other than the room has a wonderful view and it was nice being able to walk up to the botanical garden in the morning. There are other rooms available on the property...with mountain views...and I think it would be great to rent out with a group for a fun getaway.

Jagath is a great communicator and proactive. We had difficulty in finding a good restaurant for dinner but there were none. Finally, we requested Jagarh & he prepared a wonderful curry with rice dish. I cstayed for 1 night and can recommend for short stays.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in Jagath Unterkunft. Die Lage war perfekt - ruhig und dennoch nur 10 Minuten vom Nuwara Eliya entfernt. Der Ausblick vom Balkon war atemberaubend und hat unseren Aufenthalt besonders gemacht. Jagath war ein hervorragender Gastgeber und hat sich wirklich gut um uns gekümmert. Wir wurden sogar mit Tee verwöhnt und er hat uns einmal ein köstliches Abendessen zubereitet, das sogar besser war als das Essen im Restaurant. ☺️ Obwohl das Haus etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, plant Jagath, es bald zu renovieren, und wir freuen uns darauf, es im neuen Glanz zu sehen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn wir das nächste Mal in Sri Lanka sind. Vielen Dank für alles!
