Welcome to our home - a year round base for a travel passionate family. Our cocoon in Les Alberes kept its catalan charm, but with all the benefits of a newly renovated house. A dip in the pool, a nap in the forest... you will enjoy and unwind! A perfect base, only 2.5km from the center of the vibrant and charming Laroque des Alberes, a 15min drive from the long sandy beaches or hidden pebbly coves, an 1.5h drive from the high mountains of Pyrenes or bustling city of Barcelona. And so much more! The house has a big garden protected by a fence, the swimming pool is protected by a small fence and a cover with bars. The forest is not fenced. To enter the house there are 3 steps. Around the house there is a covered terrace where you can enjoy outside even on a hot or rainy day. A 45m2 living room, a mezzanine above it closed by glass walls makes one room. There is a fully equipped kitchen next to the living room, and a corridor that takes you to a toilet, bathroom and two more rooms. One room 12m2 with a balcony, one room 18m2 with an exit to the back garden. In the back garden there is a separate little room of 9m2 with a sink and a window.

We had such a wonderful time staying here. The house is really nice, spacious and comfortable. The garden and outside space is great, also very nice for the kids. Everything is so kid friendly, there is even a learning tower in the kitchen for example. And of course we loved the pool! The only minor thing for us was that the outside space is not very private because it’s situated alongside the road. And there was quite a bit more cars driving by then we had expected. But all in all, it was absolutely wonderful and we would totally recommend staying here. Morana and her family are super super nice and friendly! We wish them all the best.

Nous avons passé une super semaine avec notre fils sa femme et ses 3 enfants. La maison est spacieuse et très bien équipée. Un grand jardin avec une super piscine. Le lieu est très tranquille et la région est magnifique. Un lieu que je recommande pour se reposer tout en profitant du soleil et de la piscine. Morana est très disponible. Allez y les yeux fermés
Loved the location, not far from a beautiful village and easy to get to the beaches and Spain. Great pool and a house full of character which we loved. Hostess was v friendly and helpful.

The house is set in the Domaine des Alberes, a neighborhood 2.5 km above the center of the village. Our house is the first one of the Domaine, just before the steeper parts of the road. There is a swimming pool (20x10m), a ping pong and a tennis court that you can use in addition to our private pool (4x8m). Forest and beautiful views on the sea and peak Canigou of the Pyrenees. All the shops can be found 2.5km away in the village of Laroque des Alberes.
To get to Domaine des Albères, you will need to follow the signs from Laroque des Albères for about 7 minutes. The road is beautiful and crosses the forest. Drive slowly because there are a lot of hikers, cyclists and even wild animals. The house has a paved parking lot of 70m2 right next to the side entrance to the pool, and here you will see the inscription "Maison du voyage". Be careful, GPS will take you too far! The house is the first on the left just before the Domaine des Albers sign.
