Hector’s home was such a gem! Out in a private area where it’s quiet at night and 20 minute walk from Antigua’s Central Park. Felt like home with everything we needed. Hector was quick with responding back to messages. Very accommodating with my special requests for my birthday weekend in Antigua. Pool felt nice. Bedrooms were very private and cleaned. Only done fall was that there are lots of bugs like ants and mosquitoes due to the plants. But if these little bugs don’t bother you, stay with Hector at his beautiful home- Casa de Luna! Would definitely be back when in Antigua!

Super responsive and helpful host. Spectacular view of Fuego erupting from the upstairs balcony. Wonderful ambience and lighting. Lovely little welcome basket . Super quiet and peaceful. Hector even arranged for a small earthquake while we were having lunch one day. Well, maybe he didn't actually do that, but we felt the quake and are giving him the credit. HIGHLY recommended.

this is a beautiful home and the area is great, you definitely feel like you’re in guatemala! there’s a little cafe a block down that has amazing coffee & fresh made juices! (la jolla cafe) although the house is very spacious with lots of space to have your family or friends i believe it could use a very well deserved deep cleaning. many areas in the house seem to be very dusty or worn down, the sink in the bathroom downstairs was very dirty upon arrival. there’s also a lot of plants everywhere which was definitely shown in the photos but i think the plants that were in the shower were attracting more bugs in there, every time i wanted to shower i had to double check there’s no spiders in there. there was also a lot of ants on the floor, possibly due to the high number of plants all around the house. although the bugs are very common in guatemala and thankfully they provided some fly swatters. the host was very attentive, responsive & nice! we do appreciate the hospitality!
