We were looking for a place big enough for 4 adults and a one year old. The bonus we got was that this place was surrounded by beautiful landscapes and the lovely sheeps in the backyard. We were lucky enough to meet the cutest brand new 2 day old little lamb. We were on a holiday for a family destination wedding. Julian and Kerry were very friendly and had everything we needed. Another lovely detail was the great soaps made by Kerry and all the bathroom products provided for the guests. I highly recommend you stay at the Barker’s Farmer House.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dem gemütlichen Farmhouse. Wir haben uns zu jeder Zeit wie zuhause gefühlt und die wunderbare Landschaft und ruhige Lage sehr genossen. Julian und Kerry haben uns sofort sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen und waren jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Alles rundum perfekt und wir würden sofort wieder hier buchen!

Julian and Kerry are not only fantastic hosts but first and foremost amongst the most warmest & affectionate people we have come across. This warmth and thoughtfulness reflects in every aspect of their beautiful home. They have thought of everything a family might need in this amazing property with a lovely garden and great views. From the eclectic collection of books( there's something for everyone) to the lovely little toy chest. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you can think of. They were always available to answer any query and were so prompt in their response. We arrived much later than anticipated, but they were so sweet to greet us at the door and even showed us around. The milk and eggs were lovely. Julian's apple juice was a hit especially with the kids. The house has a lovely fireplace and we were provided with ample refill. The house has been beautifully done up, spacious and cozy beds. J&K made us feel so comfortable and we felt like we had gone back to family.

We had a great visit, it was short but great! The home was beautiful, the addition of the board games was a great touch and the fireplace with the logs made the windy evening so cosy. Julian and Kerry were attentive, and helpful with the suggestions for walks! Great location and a lovely weekend - thank you!
