Pros: The rental's location is ideal for accessing tourist attractions near Hilo and offers a diverse selection of nearby restaurants. Parking is conveniently available directly in front of the property. Guests can enjoy high-speed internet and complimentary Roku TV during their stay. Cons: Guests may experience continuous bird songs throughout the night and sporadic rooster crowing. The bathroom has limited countertop space. The seating for TV viewing consists of unpadded chairs. In summary, the rental offers solid value for its amenities. Hosts Joy and Michael are hospitable and friendly. Our stay was pleasant.

My son and I had a wonderful time on Hawaii. After hiking and sightseeing all day, it was a pleasure to come back to Joy and Michael's house. It was very nice! Michael was very helpful when we had questions about anything. We would stay there again.

We had a great 3-night stay while we visited Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The king bed was comfy and there was a small desk in the larger bedroom, too. The small kitchen had lots of supplies (including a fridge that was larger than shown in photos), and I loved having a separate bucket for compost. A peaceful and quiet place to stay, though be prepared to be serenaded by the invasive tree frogs all night long and getting a wake up call from neighborhood roosters. All in all, a very nice place, I would definitely stay again if we return to the area.
