Myola is a gem located in a beautiful setting. The grounds are filled with a lush array of plants, trees, and flowers. The location is near wonderful restaurants and amazing beaches. We were fortunate to stay in the main plantation house. The house was filled with indigenous art and furniture, which enhanced our sense of place experience. Karen and her staff are amazing. It was such a treat gettng to know everyone. We enjoyed every moment. We met as strangers and left as friends. To Karen. Vinaka! We very much look forward to seeing you again. We highly recommend Myola to all, it is a special place.

Beautiful gardens and villa. Great host and staff who were very responsive to some minor issues during our stay. Due to the design of the villa and surrounding areas this is not suitable for small children, but would be great for families with older kids or two couples. The villa is quite large with two master suites, each with there own plunge pool. Note that only the bedrooms have air conditioning so the main part of the villa can be quite uncomfortable when it is hot and humid as it was during our stay. (Larger, usable ceiling fans would be a great addition to this space to make this area more comfortable). The villa is very nice, but is showing it's age and could use some refreshing and maintenance (particularly around the pool areas), but is a good alternative to a hotel if you want more space. WIFI was slow and a bit quirky, but useable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it notwithstanding the few minor issues noted.

I would say the location and the privacy are what make this place worth the term luxury. It is truly a place to unwind and get away from civilization. The property has definitely seen better days; the kitchen is getting quite beat up and was dirty, some of the folding patio doors don't work, there are burnt-out lights everywhere, one of the plunge pools was half full when we arrived and dirty, we were not told it was broken until I asked, and I'm pretty sure the windows haven't been cleaned in years. But for the amount per night we paid, the property was worth it.

I have stayed at over 30 AirBnBs over the last 10 years, and I have never left a house early. We left after only 2 nights of a 9 night stay. The combination of unsafe & unhealthy problems combined with the dishonesty and dismissiveness by the hosts made this situation unsafe and untenable. The value for money was also really bad. -The fridge was broken, the running water was unreliable and OFF for many hours. We got severely ill from the combo of food & water at this house. -Chemical-flavored smoke filled our room and our baby's all night both nights from burning trash next door even with all the windows closed. -Dangerous for kids. Our toddler fell down unblockable wide marble stairs. There were also floor to ceiling windows with a ~20ft drop into an infinity pool below blocked only by 2 loose wires. -The wifi didn’t work & this area is rural with limited cell service. -The value for money was terrible. We ended up moving to a top room at a top hotel that cost less than this house.
