If you have a good way to get around St Kitts, Ruth’s is the perfect place. I’ve stayed here twice and both times Ruth was very kind and hospitable. Beautiful yard and pool.

JolieZwazo is unique but may not be for everyone. Very rustic and the yard a bit unkempt. Unlike any Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Chickens, guineas, ducks, and rabbits on site. The view is fabulous. The wooden perch is a nice touch for viewing the sunset.

Although Ruth was on vacation herself everything went well. Esther (Ruth's sister) met us at 2 PM and we were able to check in immediately. There were eggs, fresh fruit and bread waiting for us to enjoy. The place is exactly as described and no surprises. We had a car and would highly recommend if you want to explore the island. As stated by others the views are incredible and the pool (12'x60' approx.) made for a good wake up in the morning or a relaxing time. Highly recommend!

We had a brilliant stay at Ruth`s place. She and James were very friendly and helpful. One of them was achievable at any time to answer our question or help us. The garden and the views from it over the sea are fantastic and there is a lot growing, what you can eat or make tea of and James explained us all about, very interesting and filling us with new impressions. The pool is a great spot to relax but also long enough to swim some lanes. The chicken at the end of the garden delivered super-fresh eggs for our dinner. Walking down to two beaches is possible and snorkelling there is nice. A walk to the beach bars at Fregate Bay is about 20 minutes and in the other direction two supermarkets and an ATM are in walking distance so renting a car is not a must, as the transfer to the airport ist just five minutes, who opts for a car will find a secure parking on the premises. A longer stay is the only thing we would have wished, but we`ll come back for more ! Thank you Ruth & James

This was our very best Airbnb experience. Twenty nine years after our first visit to the island, we returned to St Kitts seeking a sunny change from the New England January. Very soon we found that the delightful warmth of the island was secondary to the human warmth we found at JolieZwazo. This is itself a wonderful ecosystem in which plants and animals and people flourish. Ruth and James took us into the heart of JolieZwazo and the experience was enchanting. We are so grateful for the care you took of us, for the superb Caribbean food, for transport when we needed it, and most of all, for sharing your family, so friendly with the northern strangers–who don't feel like strangers anymore. At age 80, we will probably not return, but JolieZwazo will be in us always.
