The Sunrise Inn is a waterfront property nestled in the tranquil countryside overlooking a pond and surrounded by trees and nature. Our beautiful cottage boasts a firepit on the pond, paddle boat, canoe and life jackets. Enjoy a day of fishing, fishing rods supplied or utilize the T’railway for an ATV / skidoo adventure. Enjoy some family time with our out door games, horse shoes, cornhole, botchy ball. After a day of adventure unwind and relax in the Hot Tub. We are a 15 min from Bay Roberts.

The place was great. Off season time and still had lots to do and enjoyed the relaxing weekend. Can’t wait to go back with the kids.
Very pleased with the place. Had two wonderful nights with my wife , daughter , and my daughter’s boyfriend. Place is very clean and cozy. Enjoyed the paddle boat. Location is great for quad riding. Owners were very responsive to our needs.
Lisa and Angela’s place is amazing! There are lots of things to do. It’s very clean and well managed. The surroundings are beautiful. Would definitely stay again!!

Our cottage is located on 1st Leary's Pond. There are several people who live in the area year round. The Trailway system is used by ATV'ers and runs through Mahers road and links into Fox Marsh and Ocean Pond. The new Pole line, approx 1km, from our cottage is a great spot for blueberry picking. Angle Pond 1/2km away from our cottage has been known for jet-skiing. Mahers area is home to many wildlife such as moose, beavers, caribou, and fox.
The Sunrise Inn has ample parking for cars/ trucks and utility trailers as well as a turn around area located at upper level parking of the cottage. There are maps of "areas of interest" located in the Welcome Booklet at the Cottage for your convenience. As Mahers is a dirt road please be aware that at times the main road can be a little rough for travelling however it is graded 3-4 times a year. Note: that many cottage owners use ATV's to get from point A to point B.

Hi, we are sisters Angela and Lisa. We are actually 2 of 4 sisters. Not only are we sisters but we are best friends, we camp together, play softball and volleyball together and have a joint love for the outdoors. There are not many times you will see one without the other. We live in the Bay Roberts area and have 5 kids between us and we both work with the Canadian Coast Guard. We are outdoorsy and cherry people and we can't wait to start our new BNB journey. The cottage we own, belonged to our Dad since 2000, we spent much time there as kids and then taking our own families there for the past 15 years! We wanted to join airbnb to allow other families to enjoy the peacefulness of the woods and seclusion of "cabin country". We hope that your stay at our cottage will bring you as many memories as we have because that is what life is truly about.
