A wonderful quiet place surrounded by woodland. Even though I could hear the road, this did not distract from the beauty of the surrounding. I went on my own for space and solitude on the first night. The log burnning tub was a blessing. Star gazing till 1am. I retired to my Cabin for the night. My 11 year old son arrive mid afternoon for the second night. We requested the Hot Tub again. Yet in hindsight the Sauna and pool might of been the better option for us both. We will both be back for that reason to take advantage of this. I will return but would love to enjoy a romantic break with a woman. One day this might be the case if the right woman finds me. So to close if your looking for solitude or a romantic break this is the perfect venue. Its also only 20 minutes from Mudiford Beach by Car. Thank you both for a wonderful stay and allowing me to bond with my son. Life Skills are so important these days and being outdoors. Children and Adults alike spend to much time indoors

We had the most amazing few days at the shepherd's hut. Hosts were so helpful and good company, hot tub was great, lovely surroundings. A real highlight was the sauna and cold plunge which we absolutely loved. We will be back. Thanks for the hospitality.
