Highbury House was exactly the home away from home we needed! The house is beautifully decorated, fully equipped with everything you might need and more! Mbali and Charl ,the management team on the ground, were super helpful and solution-oriented when there were issues or requests! There was really only one issue, outside of their control, but they worked around the clock to get it sorted quickly for us! Thank you guys so much! 🙏🏾 I would 100% recommend this listing to anyone looking for a tranquil base, that’s still within reasonable driving distance to the local attractions! It’s also very conveniently positioned relative to shops in the area. We will happily book with Sean and his team again!

Our group has traveled to Hillcrest for the past 10+ years to work alongside a pastor in nearby Ntshongweni. This is our 3rd time staying at the Highbury House and it is perfect for our needs. The home is beautifully decorated, yet comfortable, and there is plenty of space to gather together while the bedrooms offer privacy. The grounds are beautiful and it is a treat to sit outside and listen to the birds. Sean is easy to work with and Mbali is very responsive and helpful. I hope to be able to return to Highbury House for years to come.

Overall, we had a pleasant experience. The house is charming and conveniently located close to the Church, which was a big plus for us. The space provided was ample and comfortable, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay. However, our main issue during our time at the house was cleanliness. There were days when we noticed that the house was not being properly cleaned. We tried to contact your assistant to address this concern, especially regarding the smelly bin that was not emptied. We could see traces of dirt on the floor and counters, which meant we had to do some cleaning ourselves in the evenings. Another point to note is the lack of ventilation in the house. Due to the presence of monkeys in the area, we were unable to open the windows for fresh air. It would be beneficial if some form of ventilation could be provided to alleviate the stuffiness inside the house
