I booked this house with some trepidation given the very mixed reviews. My anxiety wasn't helped by the unusual check in system, whereby they don't provide the code for the keysafe until just before the stay. However, we were pleasantly surprised and relieved by the house. For 3 adults and 4 children for a weekend it was perfectly adequate, and near to the Black Country Living Museum which was the purpose of our visit. There are some idiosyncrasies - the house contains a washing machine and tumble dryer, but no dishwasher. Neither were any tea towels provided - I would advise you to take your own. Also there were only 2 teaspoons and 4 dessert spoons in the place. I have suggested to the owners that they at least provide sufficient cutlery and crockery for the number of people the house accommodates. Also short on bowls. But all in all it was clean and perfectly fine for our purposes.

Hong's place was convenient for us, very spacious and all in all a good stay. However, the hot water wasn't working on the first day, communication was good to try and rectify this issue however we just had to guess how to work the boiler and get the hot water to work. Also, if you plan to use the kitchen there is little to no utensils/cooking equipment, merely an oven with 2 trays few pots and pans no salt pepper oil etc
