James was the BEST host!! He had clear instructions for check-in, during stay, and check-out procedures! He sent a welcome email letter listing everything and asked if we had any specific requests before we arrived. I also received a welcome text when my plane landed. I felt very comfortable with such an accommodating host. This was my first Airbnb so I was a little nervous, but all previous guests raved about their Riverhouse experiences and host. So glad we took the chance and chose Riverhouse for our stay. The Airbnb was exactly like all the beautiful photos on the listing! Clean and comfortable. I loved that there is tile throughout because it just feels so much cleaner. I haven’t mentioned the KAYAKS!!! We went almost every day. I was nervous about the alligators at first, but as we paddled by they just ignored us. My husband took numerous alligator, bird, turtle, and landscape photos. As a professional photographer it was paradise! I would highly recommend!!!

We cannot say enough about how comfortable, cozy and beautifully decorated. Great amenities. Jim was very kind and attentive. Checked to make sure we didn’t need anything. Would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable location for my family. The river great to kayak on. we di not see any alligators, but my daughter saw the otters.

Perfect in every sense. Easy to find and to check in, close to everything, fully equipped, spotless, REALLY comfortable beds, very quiet, and the view to the river from the balcony was breathtaking. Jim was attentive and checked in on us to make sure everything was OK. It’s a highly recommended, beautiful property with everything you need. We will definitively stay there on our next trip to Lakewood Ranch.
