This is the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in my life. The setting is beyond words- tranquil and beautiful with the ever changing vista of the sea, the lagoon and the sky. We loved waking up every morning and watching the skylarks and other birds on the patio with an exceptional coffee from the Fabulous Sage coffee machine (not jealous much! 😂) The house too is exceptional and has been updated to a really high standard with absolutely everything you may need or want. Everywhere is comfortable and cleaned to an excellent standard. We found Ben a really great host, he is kind, helpful and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. I haven't had a week's holiday in more than 20 years and can honestly say that I can't think of anywhere I'd rather have gone, we had a wonderful time. Thanks so much Ben & co.

Beautiful property, refurbished with pride, care and style to a high quality. The property had been freshly painted and looked immaculate. The situation and views are stunning. While we were there the short span of farmland was sown with oilseed rape and was in bright yellow bloom. Although the weather during Easter 24 was horrible it couldn't hide the beauty and dignity of the surroundings.

A wonderful Coastguards retreat in a peaceful location with stunning views of Chesil beach. The property was exactly as described and every amenity was considered both in the kitchen and beyond with books, games and bath toys available for our young son. Would definitely recommend this property as the perfect base to explore beautiful Dorset.

We really enjoyed our stay - the cottage was fantastic: quiet, peaceful, clean, spacious, it had a stair gate and a high chair to keep our toddler safe. The directions were easy to follow as well. We sure hope to visit again in the future.
