Good location, handy for the motorway and access to tourist sites south of Prague (and the airport). The cottage needs to be cleaned and the fittings could be updated.

Wij waren met vier personen en daar is het huis ruim genoeg voor. Het interieur en keukengerei is sober. Wel zijn een goede koelkast, magnetron, wasmachine aanwezig evenals een grote tv met Netflix. Het schoonmaken had beter gekund. Helena is aardig, behulpzaam en reageert vlot. Van haar vader, die vlakbij woont kregen we nog geschenken uit de tuin, heel aardig. De locatie van het huis is prachtig. Vanaf het balkon is het genieten van het uitzicht en vanuit de tuin loop je zo via een paadje een trap af het meer in. Heerlijk zwemmen of met de kano het meer op (kano hoort bij huis). In de tuin is tevens een leuk speelrek en hangmat. Het huisje is op loopafstand van wandelgebied, winkels, restaurants en ook van het mooie paleis Zámek Dobříš waar we 's avonds een concert hebben bijgewoond. We zijn meerdere keren naar Praag geweest. Prachtige stad en goed te doen vanuit Dobris. Verder mooie wandelingen gemaakt: Svatojánské-proudy. Binnen half uur rijden, Velká Amerika, Mořina steengroeve; Karlštejn burcht en pelgrimsoord Skalka. We hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad en we kunnen de plek zeer van harte aanbevelen!

I stayed 5 nights at the house. It is easy to access by car, only the house number is not exactly spotted on google map but leads you very close. The house is spacious and has plenty of beds for a family to stay. The area is very quiet and you will only hear birds in the morning. The house is just by the lake so you can swim in the lake everyday. The house is 10 minutes walk from city center where there are supermarkets and grocery stores. Dobris has very nice surroundings and the castle is worth visiting. It is an ideal place to visit Czech Republic, close to Prag, and very green surroundings

All in all a nice stay. The lake house is actually a lake house with an ideal location and have got a good cosy setting. The place is just perfect if you want to enjoy Prague while also remaining near to nature. Helena was very accommodating and kind to us. Perfect for one big family but also not bad for 2 families trip :)
