Our stay was fantastic. The place is amazing, close to Ubud but right in the middle of the Balinese nature. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Loved the architecture and the interior design including great local art … we will come back!

We loved the secret hideaway feel of this utterly private Balinese villa. It is a perfect escape to soak up the Balinese sunshine, whilst floating in the private infinity pool, amid the jungle setting. The Stranded Villa team set up a super helpful WA group, with both of us and their staff, which made organising transport, food and trips really easy. They were always on hand to help and were quick to come back to us. Thank you, to all the team who helped made our stay so exceptional. A special thank you to Yande, our driver, organised through the Stranded Villa Team. We used his services every day, during our stay: going for meals in Ubud, transfers to and from the airport and for sightseeing. We would thoroughly recommend him. We felt that the staff who came to prepare our breakfast were discreet, friendly and professional. We loved how beautifully everything was presented, especially under the 'hats'. Ubud and this airbnb were so special to us as our introduction to Bali! The pictures don't do it justice - the property is stunning; gorgeous pool overlooking jungle landscape and the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen were spotless! The hosting was impeccable, communication over group chat was fast and extremely helpful, as were the daily housekeepers. The home cooked food was delicious but the local takeaways were also tasty. The hosts were so amenable in making provision for our requests, be it extra water bottles or massages for 2! Be mindful - it's a jungle out there, so prepare for the occasional monkey or gecko and the sound of cicadas, roosters and frogs, but all are harmless. The location is quite secluded so perfect for people looking for a peaceful hideaway, but also only a short bike/car journey from the city centre, waterfalls and other attractions, traffic depending. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were sad to leave, but will be back soon. Would 100% recommend!
