The place is nice and clean and as shown on the pictures, but in the area a car or a scooter is a must !

Frédéric, son oncle, la maman étaient super. Très disponible, très cordiale. Parfait. La maison donne sur une route assez passante effectivement mais en deux jours c'était oublié car on apprécie de voir la belle vue depuis la maison le village est très bien les gens ne derangnt pas au contraire. super séjour nous reviendrons

Wir hatten zwei wundervolle Wochen in der Unterkunft von Frederic. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wir wurden vor und auch während unserer Reise über wichtige Einreisebestimmungen informiert und konnten uns bei Fragen immer an den Gastgeber wenden. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem kleinen Dorf direkt am Meer. Die Einheimischen sind alle sehr zuvorkommen und super freundlich. Wir haben uns mehr als Wohlgefühl! Wir waren mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden und würden immer wieder kommen!

We stayed for 10 days in Frederics airbnb and it is very memorable. The communication with Frederic was very easy and he helped us with local tips and contacts for Kite Surfing. If you ever wanted to learn or try Kite surfing in Mauritius, this is the place to stay. The local Kite School starts directly in front of the house and gets you back there afterwards. Le Morne Village is a quiet city with some places to eat, but you get the feeling of local Mauritian life when staying in the Airbnb. The flat was very clean, and cleaner will come every other day changing towels and bed-sheets as well as cleaning the whole place, it was very nice! On thing to notice, the air condition will be charged extra (what is totally fine, since many people let it run through out the whole day even when they are gone) but its not that much, we payed 15 euros (750 MUR) for having it run every night 5 pm to 8 am the next morning. Overall it was a very nice stay and we would come back.

Le Morne Village ist ein Dorf, das (noch) nicht sehr touristisch ist. Genau das suchten wir. Francois, sein Onkel ist ein herzensguter, zuverlässiger und wunderbarer Mensch, derzeit uns vom Flughafen abgeholt hat und auch zu unserer nächsten Unterkunft in Flic en Flac gebracht hat. Das Ferienhaus liegt direkt am Strand, nur durch eine Straße getrennt. Gleich nebenan gibt es einen Shop, wo man Wasser, Cola, Bier etc. und auch Essen kaufen kann. Ich kann diese Destination für Menschen, die das eigentliche Mauritius entdecken möchten nur weiterempfehlen.
