The location of the cabin allowed for beautiful views and surroundings. Kerry did update us about the vegetation as there had been a terrible fire in the last couple of weeks. The cabin was well equipped but only a 4x4 would be able to make it up the road to the home. A lift can be provided, but it does leave you slightly stranded. Hot tub and cold pool were definitely the highlight. However, the wind can be quite strong and does rattle the cabin. Outside activities are also then limited. The loft bedroom was not the greatest as the low beams were not comfortable as you are unable to stand upright. It can also get quite hot upstairs. In hindsight I thought the price for the cabin quite cheeky as we have been in better designed cabins for less.

Honestly the best Cabin I’ve been to. The veiws are breathtaking, the place is so cozy, it has everything you could possibly need and more. 10/10 I will definitely be going back!

We had a wonderful, romantic stay in this hidden gem. The views are stunning and the cottage is absolutely perfect. Thoughtfully put together and beautifully decorated. They even have a first aid kit and bath salt-so they’ve really thought of it all. However, the pool was only half full-which was a let down. There were no SUPs to use so the pictures were a little misleading. There was also no floaties to use as advertised. This did put a bit of a dampener on the trip. Additionally we were very excited to do the hiking trail and see the bushman paintings but it was not marked and we could not find the way to them. So a few disappointments, which made it good but not as wonderful as the images suggest.

Great little mountain cottage it is exactly what you see in the photos. Loved the option between the hot tub and the pool. Great feature for those extremely hot SA summer days.
