We offer two kinds of accommodation in Lüderitz: Element Riders Backpackers in Lüderitz Namibia is the affordable accommodation choice for the adventure sports traveller, the backpacker, the visitor and tourist on a budget! Here you can book a room and enjoy the shared kitchen, lounges and dining area to connect with fellow travelers. In case you prefer more privacy, one of our private self catering apartments, situate in a over 100 years old Building, will be an interesting option. Please be aware that this building kept it's historic charm over the past 100 years, there are no lifts, only wooden stairs and all three apartments are on upper level. Small renovations are required in a variety of spaces and are carefully carried out on a continuous basis. Nothing is perfect; it's OLD and in case you expect a modern guesthouse, you will be disappointed. In case you love old wooden floors, high ceilings, wooden door and window frames, this will be the place for you! The backpackers is situated in the heart of the town but in a quite side road, while the guesthouse situated at the upper end of the main road. Supermarkets, the tourist information, restaurants, coffee shops and famous landmarks are reachable by foot from both locations. Lüderitz itself is a interesting little town and the perfect place to relax. We offer self-catering accommodation for groups or families, single, double or dormitories as well as private self catering apartments with a different number of rooms; all to suit your budget and requirements. Of course a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a simple mobile braai/barbeque is available. At the Backpackers we also have a lounge with book-exchange and one lounge with TV (full DSTV). We provide simple, yet comfortable and cleanly facilities and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Please note the following important information: Although we try our best to keep everything clean, if the wind blows (as it does a lot in Lüderitz) there will be dust, there will be some sand in the windows and all kinds of things blowing through the yards. We don't have a reception desk and no portiere to carry your bags, but Virgina and her team will give their best to make you feel home. They help at both places, and due to this they are not always on-site but always reachable via call, sms or (Hidden by Airbnb) (the number will be provided after the booking). Thus we provide for the general friendly, fun-loving, no-fuss, no-stress, relaxed people who enjoy taking a trip and enjoy life with all its imperfections. Welcome to Lüderitz!
