David proved to be an excellent host! The location is tranquil and perfect for relaxation. If you're seeking a peaceful getaway, this is the ideal spot. The house has a amazing view, and convenient access to a grocery store and other shops, just a 15-minute drive away to Belleville, ensures all your needs are easily met. Highly recommended for those seeking a serene and tranquil retreat!

Amazing location with an incredible view. About 50 min to Picton with lots of restaurants and things to do. Everything you need to cook a meal and the place is very warm and inviting. David is a great host who was extremely communicative.

This was my second stay at Dave and it was as lovely as the first. This time for thanksgiving weekend with my family. The kitchen table was great to play games and share a meal. Highly recommend!

Spent a lovely long weekend at David’s home. 1st time staying here and would definitely come back. Had everything you needed, outstanding view of the lake from inside or relaxing on the waterfront patio. Cozy, clean and relaxing spot to unwind but close enough to travel to PEC or Belleville to explore! David’s communication was top notch and made several suggestions to us as it was our first time staying in Stirling. We had such a fantastic time, thank you!

We love staying at David's cottage at Oak Lake--it's our second summer spending a week there, and we've already booked our week for next year. As a family of three--two parents and one young child--the cottage is perfect for us: a super comfortable queen bed for the grownups and cute bedroom with a twin bed for our kiddo. The wall of windows and back patio are awesome places to watch the lake, which is also perfect swimming for little ones. We love having the TV and wifi available for rainy days, and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need to keep yourselves well fed all week. Stirling is also a delightful place to hang out. Farmgirl Bakery is a delicious new addition to downtown, and even the smallest ice cream at Scoops is the size of your head. The farmer's market is always a total treat, as are all the boutiques and vintage stores. And this year we spent the afternoon at the Agricultural Fair on our way home and had a blast watching the horse pull and riding rides.
