I have stayed in many Air BnB's over the years but this one is my favourite. If you are looking for a slice of paradise this is it! A perfect combination of simple living where you can spend hours simply enjoying the sea views, watching wildlife at play, going down to the private beach and dipping in the clear water then ending the day watching the glorious sunsets. Food for the soul for sure. Katerina & Yannis have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable from a well equipped kitchen (with some homemade wine & olive oil included!) to very comfortable beds and even a delicious home cooked dish for the evening of our arrival which was so appreciated after many hours of travelling. We did a supermarket shop before arriving which I would recommend to others as it is an hour round trip to the nearest one from the house. We didn't mind at all - we mostly cooked in as we didn't want to leave! Katerina could not be more friendly & helpful & I highly recommend a stay here :)

Paradise! Anna’s Taverna (up the road) was the perfect place to get traditional greek dinners, even though cooking at the place is also beautiful. Thankful for this gem and the days we were allowed to spend there.

Katerina und ihr Mann Yannis sind großartige und liebenswerte Gastgeber, die ihr Ferienhaus mit vielen Details sehr charmant eingerichtet haben. Im Kühlschrank wartete ihr eigener Wein auf uns und zur Begrüßung hatte Katerina eine Käse-Quiche gebacken. Auch stellten Sie uns ihr selbst gemachtes Olivenöl zur Verfügung. Ihr Haus ist ein Traum und ermöglicht einen sehr besonderen Sommerurlaub an einer der schönsten Locations auf Samos. Wir haben jeden Morgen erstmal an unserem eigenen Strand gebadet, dann Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit einem fantastischen Blick. Katerina war immer erreichbar für Tipps und dergleichen. Wir waren mit unseren Jungs für eine Woche dort und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Fahrt zum Haus ist etwas abenteuerlich, ohne 4x4 Drive geht es nicht. Sollten wir wieder nach Samos kommen, dann wieder in dieser zauberhafte Haus.

It is hard to dream up somewhere as exquisite as Katerina's place, you really need to experience it. An hour's drive from the port, nearly half of which is down a dirt road winding along cliff edges with mindboggling views of the mountains, sea and sky, you find yourself in total isolation, with only the dolphins, the sea, the sunsets and the local cats for company. You wander down to the private beach for swims when the mood takes you, and spend the rest of your days on the terrace watching the dolphins play, the boats go pass, the sun go down in glorious red skies, and the moon come up over the sea. Katerina leads you to the house and leaves you with copious supplies of their own home-grown red, white and rose wine, olive oil, olives and kumquat jam. The houses are their own so they have everything you could possibly desire, including generous supplies of crisp linen sheets, piles of beach and bath towels, spices from all over Greece and Turkey, and an old telescope for star-gazing.

Katerina’s place was perfect in every respect, from the secluded private beach to the dolphins you could spot right from the house. We were warmly greeted by Katerina and Yanni, and they kindly gifted us fresh olives, wine and olive oil from their own production, as well as giving us great recommendations for restaurants and boat trips. They are the most kind and thoughtful hosts and they were so helpful and very quick to respond. The houses were beautifully decorated and filled with details, which all made us feel at ease during our stay. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and we had al fresco dinners at the house, while enjoying the breathtaking views. While it should be noted that the drive to the house requires a 4x4 vehicle and a fairly experienced driver, it was all worth it, as we got to enjoy the amazing sunsets from one of the most remote parts of the island, as well as having the beach all to ourselves in August.
