It is also not far to great hiking area. For stores and restaurants it is only a short drive to the center of Jørpeland. The cottage is a good starting point if you want to experience the Lysefjord and Preikestolen. These are only about 10 kilometers away. The Kongeparken amusement park is also worth a visit.
