Booked this rental for a week, while visiting family in the Decatur. The house was not clean and probably not cleaned for a long time judging by the thickness of the dust. Blinds, walls and floors were covered with dust, kitchen surfaces were greasy, and dirty towels were left under the sink. The bathrooms had dust and grunge piled in corners and behind doors. The heating vent in one bedroom makes a lot of noise, but not as loud as the neighborhood dogs that barked every hour or so throughout the night. I found an uncharged dog barking deterrent device in the kitchen, but couldn't find a charger. Since device was also covered in grease I just couldn't deal with it. I let the owner know we needed paper towels and was told they were in the cabinet. Yes, there was a roll with a few sheets left, After this experience, I wonder if people are afraid to leave an honest review. I would have appreciated reading one before choosing this place.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY. !! We rented the place for our men who were here working for a month, they never had one complaint, said the house was really nice, always had someone checking on them, even brought them some additional pots and pans. Said the only thing that would have made it better was an additional bathroom, because there were 3 of them, but managed and had a great time, was able to get right in and didn't have any problems. We will definitely be staying @ Stephens places again. Thank you for making their stay feel like home. That makes a huge difference
