Fiona and Derek (and Rosie the dog) were great hosts, they made us feel instantly at home and went above and beyond to help us get there when we arrived on the island. It was a more personal and homely experience than many other AirBnbs we have stayed with. Everything and more was provided and the chalet even exceeded our expectations. The area is perfect - calm, quiet, beautiful and in walking distance to the centre of Cowes (which is a lovely walk along the esplanade). Thank you!
The chalet is lovely and has amazing sea views - we witness some gorgeous sunsets. Fiona (and Derek) as a host is exceptional. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make sure we had an amazing stay. The chalet was clean, warm and comfortable and had so much attention to detail from kitchen bits to extra toothpaste in case you had forgotten yours! Everything you could want had been thought about. Walking distance to a lovely pub too which Fiona told us all about and offered to book us a table - which is advised as it gets really busy as it’s such a great locations. Fiona is a wonderful host and the chalet is lovely - would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.
We had a great stay at Fiona’s place. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The welcome pack was very generous with lovely homemade scones. Fiona made us feel welcome and before our stay communication was excellent.

自我介绍
I am now retired but still mum to 5 grown up children and 5 grandchildren half of which have managed to 'scatter' themselves around the world the furthest away being Australia! We love Europe and enjoy short break holidays. I always pack too much when going on holiday but can't live without a shower and my hair dryer therefore not really a good 'camper' I love cooking and enjoy home cooked food never really been a 'takeaway' person. Can't go away without at least 2 good books in my suitcase but have just been converted to a Kindle. This is my first experience of airbnb and was recommended by a close friend I am looking forward to not only being a guest but a host as well as we have a lovely chalet with wonderful sea views that I would like to open up to another airbnb member. My life's motto is to treat other people how you would want to be treated yourself and always smile, and most of the time the world smiles back.
