A Nature Lover, Star Gazers Paradise! Villa Bella Montagna is a hidden gem in the tiny settlement of Kapi, close to the lovely mountain village of Salakos, west coast Rhodes. This one-bedroom house, designed to the highest standard for your comfort, sleeps up to four. The secluded garden is enchanting, surrounded by nature and stunning mountain and sea views, with an above-ground pool. Only a few minutes by car to Salakos village with taverna’s, cafes & a shop. Ten minutes to the nearest beach. Villa Bella Montagna is a little open-plan house with a separate spacious bedroom with air conditioning and a bathroom with a shower. The living area is also airconditioned and offers a lovely seating area, which can be a sleeping area for two people. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there is a dining area. The house is bright and airy, with a cheerful ambience, opening out into the lovingly tended garden. Herbs and fruit grow abundantly, and the secluded garden with several seating areas peacefully connects with nature, surrounded by mountain and sea views. There is an above ground pool, ideal for cooling off after a day out. The tiny village of Kapi, with only a handful of houses, no longer has full-time residents, and only the local farmers visit their small holdings from time to time, so the night sky is barely polluted by light, promising spectacular star-lit nights. Walking tracks are plentiful, and the pretty village of Salakos is only five minutes away by car.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Villa Bella Montagna. Es war wunderbar ruhig und idyllisch, sodass man sämtliche Insekten hören und auch beobachten konnte. Auf der einen Seite ein schöner Berg, auf der anderen Seite die Aussicht sogar bis zum Meer mit Sonnenuntergang. Mit dem Auto kann man von dort aus viele Ecken und Strände auf der Insel erkunden. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Eine sehr schön gelegene Unterkunft mit allem, was es braucht. Perfekt für Wanderausflüge im Grünen. Etwas Abseits von Salakos, daher nur mit einem Mietwagen zu empfehlen.

Villa Bella Montagna ligt aan de rustigere westkant van Rhodos, van de weg af op een heel rustige plek. Bij aankomst moet je even rekening houden dat de een onverharde weg oprijdt naar het huisje toe. Evagelia en haar man zijn de eigenaren en hebben ons heel hartelijk ontvangen! Het huis is leuk en modern ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien, heeft een prachtige tuin, waar je in kan zitten of vanaf het terras op uit kijkt. In de tuin groeien kruiden die je vers kan plukken. Het uitzicht aan de ene kant over het dal en de zee (en Turkije) en de andere kant op de berg is ook prachtig! Echt een aanrader voor rustzoekers.

Lantligt, lugnt och tyst läge långt ifrån turister. Fin odlingsnatur runt omkring. Stugan har en härlig trädgård med fantastisk utsikt över närliggande berg. Trevligt och noggrant värdpar. Huset är nyrenoverat och väldigt fräscht. Grannen bjöd på helt otroligt goda vattenmeloner! Vi fick plats två vuxna och två små barn utan problem.

The charming square of Salakos is the hub of the village, where locals and visitors come together in a friendly and warm atmosphere. Three tavernas and a cafe serve delicious traditional Greek food and drinks. There is a village shop which provides a great selection of fresh local produce as well as a good selection of groceries and wine, and there is a hotel nearby with a bar.
There are many walking tracks around the area, which is popular with nature lovers, and the nearest beach is only ten minutes by car.
Salakos is at the crossroads of many of the island's roads, making it an ideal base from which to visit all of Rhode's favourite attractions, returning at the end of the day to peace and tranquillity.
Diagoras International Airport is only 23kms away, Rhodes Old Town is 41kms, and the famous Lindos Village is 48 km away.
The popular holiday resorts of Faliraki, Kolympia and Afandou are a pleasant 45-minute drive, and Kallithea Springs is 43 km away.
Nearer to Salakos, the beaches of Kamiros, Kalavarda, and Soroni are only 10-15 minutes by car, some boasting the best kite surfing conditions, while others are ideal for sunbathing on free sunbeds.
The Ancient Kamiros archaeological site is 7.4 km, Kritinia Castle is 26 km and many other mountain villages, such as the tourist village of Embona, are only a short drive.
Salakos is famous for its Christmas Festivals held at the Cave of Makarouna, only a five minute drive from Villa Bella Montagna.
