we are from Australia, and in Australia there are standards. Now I understand that not every country has the same standards as is but this was a horrible experience. The hosts are extremely so to respond and we did not receive the check in instructions or the location of the property until 1 hour prior to check in. We were driving from Monaco and needed to plan our day and not having this information was an absolute nightmare. The host eventually responded but the pdf with the check in instructions was even worst than the host responding! very unclear, the keys are padlocked to a pole down a dodgy alleyway. Very unsafe situation to be putting your guests in. But the thing that really topped off this horrible experience. HOT WATER STILL DOESNT WORK! it only reaches 20C, so no shower, no dishwasher, no washing of clothes. I have read many reviews saying the same thing and to see that the host has not fixed the issue after 1.5 years is just lazy. We cancelled our stay and moved elsewhere

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Appartement impeccable et très bien décoré. localisation parfaite pour visiter Gênes. L’environnement est agréable, restaurants/cafés/commerces en bas de la rue. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Posizione ottima! Appartamento molto carino. Un suggerimento, lasciate almeno del caffè/tè a disposizione degli ospiti. Per il resto niente da rimproverare.

We were four people (two couples) in Genova for a long weekend. The apartment is of course extremely well located, and the hosts give excellent information in advance about how to find it (not easy for an old Italian city). The apartment is clean and bright, however it would be helpful if there were more places to hang and store the amount of clothing and personal items that four people bring with them. (For example, nowhere to hang coats or put shoes.) This created a fair amount of clutter, reducing the comfort of the space and the ability to spend time in it (such as cooking and eating). The hot water runs out quickly, so guests should space out their shower routines. Otherwise, it is an easy and affordable way to experience a great city for a short amount of time.
