I booked a stay with Ryan for 30+ days as we were traveling for work. After about 10’days into our stay We received a notice via the landlord that Ryan had not paid his rent and the process of eviction was starting. I reached out to him to get an update as the notice gave him 5 days to respond. He said it was handled. I called the Landlord to confirm and she said not had he not paid or fixed the issue as well as he was in violation of his lease agreement and wasn’t supposed to be Airbnbing this place at all. I then reached out to Airbnb and booked another place not wanting to get involved. I requested a refund for the nights I didn’t stay. Then got a nasty message from Ryan basically saying he was going to deny my request and charge me the full amount of my stay. As someone who claims he’s into real estate investing he’s clearly running a ponsy scheme and has no idea what he’s doing. Pay your bills dude. Stay away from this host, unless you want to be stuck in a shit show.
